Compliance Analyst

Location: Houston, Texas, United States of America. Only local candidates will be considered; relocation is not offered. Expatriate assignments are not considered. Employment visa sponsorship is unavailable, and candidates on time-limited visa status will not be considered.

What you will do

• Serve as a point of contact for business personnel seeking guidance on compliance requirements.
• Help establish and deploy compliance procedures and assess the compliance environment.
• Identify compliance issues, recommend corrective actions, and track timely implementation.
• Coordinate compliance reporting, progress updates, training sessions, and quality reviews.
• Review sensitive transaction requests and administer the Sensitive Transaction Approval and Reporting System within delegated authority.
• Process third-party due diligence reports, monitor sensitive transaction metrics, and coordinate with business units, headquarters, and legal counsel.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accountancy, Business, or Law.
• Postgraduate professional designation such as CPA, Chartered Accountant, or MBA.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or in professional services audit or consulting, including Big Four experience.
• Experience with compliance, anti-corruption laws, international trade and U.S. antiboycott laws and regulations, competition law, and due diligence processes.
• Ability to interpret and apply compliance concepts and controls to business transactions, identify issues, and provide timely counsel.
• Must be a local candidate in Houston, Texas, United States of America and must not require employment visa sponsorship.
