Deputy Director, TB Delivery (Global Health)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; ability to travel 30% domestically and internationally.

Salary: $267,000–$413,800 USD annually; $293,600–$455,200 USD annually in Seattle and Washington, D.C.

What you will do

• Design and implement strategies to reduce TB incidence and mortality in focus countries.
• Manage and oversee a complex portfolio of grants, contracts, budgets, investments, and risk mitigation plans.
• Guide the introduction of new diagnostics, therapeutics, vaccines, and other delivery technologies.
• Lead partnerships with grantees, public and private organizations, universities, funders, and government agencies.
• Identify implementation science opportunities, develop proposals and RFPs, and support evidence generation.
• Advise, mentor, and support colleagues and partners across a highly matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Advanced degree, preferably a PhD in statistics, data science, or epidemiology, with at least 10 years of field experience.
• Experience working in HIV and TB delivery at country and global levels, including diverse cultural settings.
• Expertise in statistics, modeling, machine learning, data analysis, interpretation, and advanced statistical or geo-mapping software.
• Ability to manage quantitative and qualitative work, translate analytics into visualizations and narratives, and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
• Experience architecting productive, collaborative consortia in HIV prevention is preferred.
