TL;DR

Location: Sunnyvale, California; candidates must reside in the Northern California Bay Area (San Francisco Peninsula). Travel to other sites may be required up to 40%.

Salary: $484,567–$504,567 annually.

What you will do

  • Provide medical leadership, clinical oversight, and accountability for patient care and health outcomes across client health centers.
  • Define and drive health outcome initiatives, analyze results, and present findings to providers, management, and client partners.
  • Develop clinical and administrative strategies, policies, guidelines, and action plans to improve services.
  • Analyze data trends and medical literature, identify issues, and recommend resolutions.
  • Lead, evaluate, train, and mentor physicians and other medical providers.
  • Support provider hiring decisions, annual evaluations, continuing education, and adherence to health center goals.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree with 7–10 years of primary care experience.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Practice through the AOA or ABMS.
  • Minimum 5 years of medical management or leadership experience; experience overseeing multiple clinical locations is preferred.
  • Current state and federal DEA certification.
  • Current AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required depending on the contract scope.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, presentation, quantitative, data analysis, and medical literature evaluation skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs.
