Piping Coordinator (EPC/Infrastructure/Data Center)

What you will do

• Coordinate projects and material handling from manufacturing through installation, including expediting, fabrication, bagging and tagging, and field logistics.
• Check piping drawings, plans, sections, isometrics, spool sheets, and bills of materials against established procedures and standards.
• Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, spool sheets, cut sheets, complete bills of materials, pad drawings, and equipment drawings using Revit or other design modeling software.
• Prepare Basic Engineering Packages and coordinate project transfers with the Global Design Center and other VDC offices.
• Lead project reviews and kick-off meetings, maintain customer contact, track milestones, and provide weekly project status updates.
• Travel to jobsites when required to obtain field measurements and coordinate with customers and sales teams.

Requirements

• Remote work from Texas, United States.
• Experience in EPC, infrastructure, or data center projects is required.
• Associate degree in drafting technology required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Three to five years of engineering or design experience, preferably in HVAC or industrial piping.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word is required; knowledge of Revit or piping software is beneficial.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with less than 5% travel expected.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of piping specification engineering and pipe supports.
• Project management experience involving scheduling, budgeting, expediting, material coordination, customer communication, and drawing submissions.
