Bioprocess Technician IV (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Sanford, North Carolina, United States. Rotating 2-2-3 schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the United States. U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs and eligibility.

Salary: $25.88–$43.14 per hour, plus potential overtime, weekend, holiday, and other pay premiums.

What you will do

• Execute activities involving process equipment, manufacturing systems, biopharmaceutical operations, and automation controls.
• Identify and resolve technical and operational problems while considering broader process implications.
• Complete assignments independently and ensure team work is completed to required standards.
• Review non-standard work for technical soundness and provide direction or training to team members.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures, and global regulatory and environmental guidelines.
• Contribute to departmental projects, continuous improvement, and the development of operating standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, including relevant unit operations or laboratory operations.
• Proficiency with process equipment, manufacturing systems, manufacturing operations, and automation control.
• Understanding of continuous improvement processes and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage personal time, professional development, and workflow independently.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• Advanced knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Project management proficiency and familiarity with global regulatory and environmental guidelines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic familiarity with AI tools and interest in using them to improve productivity.
