AI Analyst (Finance): Developing and deploying AI tools, LLM-powered solutions, and client-facing applications for a global derivatives marketplace with an accent on machine learning, data preparation, and natural-language insights from financial data. Focus on building and optimising AI applications, analysing relational data, and contributing to the full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
Location: Belfast - Millennium House; applicants must be located in Belfast for the duration of the placement. Hybrid work.

What you will do
- Assist with the development and deployment of internal AI tools and applications.
- Help build and optimise LLM-powered solutions that generate insights from internal data.
- Contribute to client-facing tools supporting trading and market-data analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and develop effective AI solutions.
- Prepare and analyse data for machine learning models.
- Support the full project lifecycle from ideation through deployment.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Currently completing a placement year as part of the degree course.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of machine learning and data science concepts.
- Must be located in Belfast for the duration of the placement; no visa sponsorship is available.

- Familiarity with Large Language Models and their applications.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
