Substance Abuse Counselor - Part-Time (Counseling): Providing patient-centered counseling sessions and treatment plans for people recovering from substance and opioid addiction with an accent on compassionate care, recovery support, and meaningful patient connections. Focus on conducting counseling, managing clinical documentation, and supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.

Location: On-site at KC North, 1125 North 5th Street, Kansas City, KS 66101, USA

Salary: $30–$31 per hour

What you will do

Conduct counseling sessions for patients throughout their recovery journey.
Develop and support individualized treatment plans.
Build meaningful, patient-centered connections.
Provide care to patients receiving substance abuse and opioid addiction treatment.
Manage clinical documentation.

Requirements

Hold one of the following credentials: tLAC, LAC, PLPC, LPC, LMAC, or LMSW.
Work on-site in Kansas City, Kansas.
Work the scheduled part-time hours of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Demonstrate a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and recovery.
