Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design and build high-performance backend services, infrastructure tooling, and cloud-native applications using Go.
• Develop production gRPC and REST APIs and contribute to shared codebases used across multiple engineering teams.
• Build Kubernetes-native solutions, including controllers and integrations with Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Address latency, concurrency, networking, distributed-systems, and operational-efficiency challenges.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions with product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design reviews, documentation, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant experience in Go.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, including goroutines, channels, and contexts.
• Experience with Kubernetes-native development, relational and key-value data stores, distributed systems, networking, CI/CD pipelines, and container-based deployment.
• Strong debugging, performance-engineering, communication, and documentation skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; new H-1B visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions to Go-based projects.
• Experience writing Kubernetes operators or controllers.
• Familiarity with eBPF, service mesh, low-level systems programming, security-sensitive Go projects, WASM, TinyGo, or embedded systems.
