Supplier Quality Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Assess raw material suppliers and improve the quality of finished automotive products.
• Work with suppliers to reduce defective parts per million using quality workshops and structured improvement processes.
• Approve new suppliers through validation questionnaires, reports, and supplier development activities.
• Conduct supplier-site audits, verify process compliance, and support corrective quality improvements.
• Communicate customer and Aptiv quality procedures and standards to suppliers.
• Manage validation of new PPAP components and monitor supplier quality performance.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in the automotive sector in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of quality standards and customer requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and under stress.
• English proficiency is required.
• Leadership, analytical, and synthesis skills.
