What you will do
- Deliver hands-on practical training across electrical building services systems.
- Coach and mentor apprentices on active project sites throughout their development.
- Support apprentice logbooks, assessments, technical milestones, onboarding, and inductions.
- Carry out skills assessments and development reviews while identifying site-specific skills gaps.
- Maintain training, competency, and compliance records and update training materials in line with industry regulations.
- Deliver toolbox talks, refresher training, and safety briefings while working with colleges, training providers, and accreditation bodies.
Requirements
- Recognised electrical trade or engineering qualification.
- At least 8 years of experience in the electrical building services industry.
- Strong knowledge of wiring regulations, site safety, industry best practice, compliance, and quality workmanship.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting apprentices or junior tradespeople.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple project priorities.
- Comfort using digital systems and Microsoft Office tools.
Nice to have
- Certificate in Training & Assessment.
- Experience supporting apprenticeship audits or inspections.
- Experience with large-scale construction or mechanical and electrical projects.
- Experience working across multiple sites or projects.
