What you will do

• Own silicon photonics process integration from development and customer engagement through production.
• Develop silicon photonics processes across RF, FinFET, FDSOI, and eNVM technologies.
• Collaborate with process module and device teams to drive process solutions.
• Work with product lines and business units to define project scope and address technical requirements.
• Develop, sustain, and improve technologies while balancing quality, cost, and delivery.
• Perform activities in accordance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.

Requirements

• Onsite work in Malta, New York, USA.
• Bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related engineering or physical science discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering advanced technology for mass production.
• Strong project management skills, including schedule, scope, and cost trade-offs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• PhD with at least one year of relevant work experience.
• FEOL/BEOL process experience with planar, FinFET, or FDSOI technology.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and structured problem solving.
• Experience working with diverse teams, clients, and internal and external partners.
• Strong presentation and technical writing skills.
