Mobile AI Engineer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid model with at least three days per week in the office

What you will do

• Turn agreed product scope into working mobile products and testable releases.
• Build and maintain mobile experiences, contributing across mobile platforms, frontend, and backend technologies as needed.
• Work with product managers and designers to use data, user insights, and hypotheses to guide implementation and validate outcomes.
• Apply and improve AI-native workflows across development, testing, and validation, and integrate AI capabilities into products.
• Improve accessibility, performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to deployment, maintenance, and operations while sharing knowledge and developing team practices.

Requirements

• Strong native mobile engineering skills in Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android, including production delivery, maintenance, APIs, automated testing, debugging, and release processes.
• Hands-on capability in at least one additional area, such as a second mobile platform, frontend, or backend development.
• Experience using AI across substantial parts of product delivery, including agent-based or spec-driven development workflows.
• Ability to structure work for AI, provide context, evaluate generated software, and take responsibility for production outcomes.
• Experience working in a product organisation and cross-functional teams with product managers and designers.
• Ability to work in the Stockholm office at least three days per week under the hybrid model.

Nice to have

• Experience developing for both iOS and Android.
• Strong frontend or backend engineering skills.
• Experience with accessibility, mobile performance, media, or streaming products.
