Palo Alto Networks Engineer (Cybersecurity)

hirify.global provides technical support and project assistance for information security products from Palo Alto Networks and other cybersecurity vendors.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks products and coordinate cases with the vendor’s technical support team.
• Provide first-line technical support to customers and partners in line with SLAs and KPIs.
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and updating of Palo Alto Networks information security systems.
• Set up and use lab environments to test hardware, software, and troubleshooting scenarios.
• Collaborate with Palo Alto Networks engineering teams, partners, customers, and hirify.global teams.
• Prepare and locate technical documentation, including questionnaires, RFPs, topology diagrams, comparison charts, and EULAs.

Requirements

• Technical higher education and at least 2 years of experience in IT or a related field.
• Fluent Georgian and Russian; English at B1 level or above.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and network topology.
• Understanding of cybersecurity products and the technical problems they solve.
• Experience with security hardware from Palo Alto Networks, Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, or Juniper.
• Experience with NGFW, VPN, URL filtering, IoT Security, Endpoint Protection, DNS Security, or Cloud Security.

Nice to have

• Vendor engineering certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Juniper, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with systems integrators, distributors, or large enterprise clients.
