Senior Data Analyst (Big Data)

Location: Hybrid from Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, Poland; 2–3 days per week from the office

Salary: 1,000–1,300 PLN/day on a B2B contract

What you will do

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and translate complex business and technical requirements into features and user stories.
• Design and shape data, analytics, reporting, and shared data ecosystem capabilities.
• Collaborate with business users, data engineers, developers, and other stakeholders across organizational units.
• Manage delivery dependencies across multiple teams and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Contribute as an owner within a cross-functional Agile team and drive assigned deliverables to completion.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in data analysis and working with complex business and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with data quality, data governance, and data hygiene activities.
• SQL experience is required.
• Understanding of Big Data ecosystems and modern data platforms, including Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and Hive.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, machine learning concepts, data analytics tools, and Python.

• Banking or financial services domain knowledge.
