Senior/Lead AQA Engineer (Python)

Location: Minsk, Belarus, with onsite, hybrid, or remote work from any location.

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and evolve the automated testing framework for a complex Windows and macOS desktop application.
• Expand automated coverage across functional, regression, UAT, E2E, data-driven, and reference-based testing.
• Build and maintain automated tests in C++ and Python, including Lua-based scenarios and presets.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, improve execution reliability, and support internal QA tools.
• Validate AI-based image processing, image quality, camera and lens support, and behavior across CPU, GPU, and NPU configurations.
• Perform benchmarking, profiling, log analysis, root-cause investigation, and technical discussions with customer representatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience in test automation or AQA.
• Strong practical experience with C++ and/or Python, automation frameworks, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with GTest or Catch2, CMake/CTest, Python unittest or similar frameworks, and CI/CD integration.
• Strong experience testing desktop applications and developing functional, regression, UAT, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Experience with data-driven testing, reference-based regression testing, log analysis, failure investigation, and root-cause analysis.
• English level B2+ is required for regular communication with customers.

Nice to have

• Experience in image processing, computer vision, RAW image processing, graphics software, or AI/ML-powered functionality.
• Experience with performance benchmarking, profiling, Lua, and hardware-dependent testing.
• Knowledge of photography, cameras, lenses, image formats, EXIF, or color processing.
• Previous technical leadership experience and personal interest in photography.
