Middle Automation QA Engineer (Image Processing)

Location: Minsk, Belarus; onsite, remote, or hybrid work. Remote work is possible from any location.

What you will do

• Develop and evolve test automation frameworks for desktop applications and image-quality pipelines.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated UAT, E2E, functional, regression, and exploratory tests within CI/CD processes.
• Convert manual test cases into automated scenarios and increase overall automation coverage.
• Validate AI-powered image-processing functionality, including output quality, performance, and compatibility.
• Test support for new camera and lens models across Windows and macOS products and different CPU, GPU, and NPU configurations.
• Investigate failures, analyze logs, review requirements, and collaborate with developers and international customer teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Automation QA.
• Experience testing desktop applications on Windows and macOS, with a good understanding of desktop application architecture.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test scenarios and contributing to test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, and end-to-end testing, requirements analysis, defect investigation, and log analysis.
• Practical experience using AI assistants, especially Claude, in engineering or QA work.
• English: B2 or higher with strong spoken communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in image processing, computer vision, or AI-based image enhancement.
• Practical experience with digital cameras and photo-processing software.
