AI/ML Platform Engineer

Location: Plano North, United States. Applicants must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native platform components for AI/ML and LLM workloads.
• Implement and operate MLOps and LLMOps capabilities, including model deployment pipelines, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
• Build integrations with AWS AI/ML services such as Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock, model registries, vector data stores, model endpoints, and orchestration tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation with platform and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and analyze metrics to improve reliability, latency, and cost.
• Apply engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience; the role is designed for early-career engineers.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Experience building and operating cloud-based applications and services on AWS or a similar cloud provider.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git or GitHub, Docker, and automated deployments.
• United States work authorization without current or future Toyota immigration sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to MLOps, LLMOps, and AI/ML platform engineering patterns.
• Experience with RAG pipelines, embedding workflows, prompt orchestration, or model inference services.
• Familiarity with Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation, SageMaker, or Bedrock.
