Technical Solutions Consultant (Oracle SQL/PLSQL)

Location: Fully remote within Canada; Pacific Time preferred. Working hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Salary: $70,000–$85,000 CAD base per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in higher-education client environments.
• Write and modify Oracle SQL and PL/SQL code, and carry fixes into the development environment when needed.
• Deliver custom client development as required.
• Explain technical issues, solutions, and next steps clearly to client stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Technical Solutions lead and take ownership of an increasing share of client work.
• Expand knowledge of ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and JavaScript as required.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on development experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including writing and modifying code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for direct client collaboration.
• Ability to work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
• Must work remotely from Canada.
• Full-time, permanent employment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ellucian Banner, technically or functionally.
• Exposure to ASP.NET, Visual Studio, or JavaScript.
• Experience in higher education or with university and college clients.
• Broad technical experience and the ability to learn new languages and tools quickly.
