Location: Remote candidates considered; Northern Illinois-based candidates are preferred, with Illinois relocation openness preferred. Travel up to 40% to manufacturing sites, vendors, and headquarters.
Base salary: $232,000–$290,000 annually, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses, commission, and long-term incentives.

What you will do
- Develop and execute a multi-year Quality strategy across the United States and Canada network.
- Lead Quality governance, decision-making, and performance management across multiple manufacturing, laboratory, compounding, and distribution sites.
- Partner with senior business, manufacturing, supply chain, and technical leaders to support growth, operational resilience, and reliable product supply.
- Drive inspection readiness, regulatory excellence, quality improvement, remediation, and transformation initiatives.
- Make risk-based decisions balancing patient safety, product quality, compliance, and business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop approximately 400 employees while strengthening succession planning and organizational capability.
Requirements
- More than 15 years of senior Quality leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience leading Quality strategy, compliance, governance, and performance across complex multi-site operations.
- Deep expertise in global quality systems, regulatory requirements, inspection management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and leading large-scale transformation, remediation, and continuous improvement programs.
- Strong business acumen, including experience managing significant budgets, investments, and strategic operating plans.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline required; an advanced degree is preferred.
