TL;DR
Financial Accountant (Fintech): Managing month-end close, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit readiness across multiple legal entities with an accent on financial controls, process documentation, and ERP migration. Focus on resolving reconciliation backlogs, identifying root causes, shaping the Business Central setup, and applying automation and AI to accounting processes.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark; 4 days in the office

What you will do
- Own parts of the month-end close across multiple legal entities, including postings, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Drive the account reconciliation project and resolve outstanding balance sheet reconciliation items.
- Convert reconciliation findings into effective controls and standard operating procedures.
- Work across Unit4 and Business Central during the ERP migration and help shape the future Business Central setup.
- Collaborate with the team and close open audit recommendations.
Requirements
- Hands-on accounting experience with month-end close, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities.
- Experience with Business Central, Unit4, or a similar ERP.
- Strong Excel skills for large reconciliations, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and large datasets.
- Experience working with external auditors and documenting processes or building controls.
- Professional working proficiency in English and the ability to maintain accuracy when priorities shift.
- Strong interest in automation and AI.
