Accounting Manager

What you will do

• Own financial reporting, annual accounts, IFRS, tax, VAT, management reporting, commercial finance, and KPI forecasting.
• Support the Denmark and Banking Services Finance leadership team with daily decisions and long-term planning.
• Translate Group Finance frameworks, standards, and objectives into effective local Danish processes.
• Identify improvements to financial performance, reporting, and operational processes.
• Contribute to the transition to a new finance system landscape, including an AI-driven finance application.
• Support team development and a culture of quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a comparable field.
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting, audit, or a similar area.
• Proven experience with IFRS standards, financial compliance, and reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical, business problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Structured and reliable approach with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Interest in developing people while delivering high-quality results independently.
