Analyst II, Fullstack (Analytics Engineering)

Location: Remote Spain; candidates must be based in Spain

Base pay: €63,000–€99,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and maintain dbt models and core datasets for Accounting reporting and downstream automation.
• Improve data platform reliability through testing, alerting, runbooks, and documented lineage.
• Investigate production data issues and implement root-cause fixes.
• Optimize Snowflake and dbt performance and costs as the platform scales.
• Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to create durable, well-tested data assets.
• Contribute to GitHub-based version control, code review, documentation, and release practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar production data roles.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt modeling, testing, and documentation.
• Experience with Git, pull-request collaboration, standard IDEs, and collaborative debugging.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses; Snowflake is preferred.
• Strong ownership and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Must be based in Spain.

Nice to have

• Finance or accounting data experience, including reconciliations and ledger-style modeling.
• Experience with Workato, Fivetran, or similar integration and automation platforms.
• Experience supporting reporting layers and BI tools.
• Python knowledge for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with CI pipelines, quality gates, and responsible AI-assisted development.
