TL;DR
Solution Engineer (GCP): Designing and implementing Google Cloud solutions, automation, and cloud-native services with an accent on Infrastructure-as-Code, cloud migration, and client-focused solution architecture. Focus on building automated solutions with Terraform, evaluating cloud workloads, supporting technical workshops and proofs of concept, and aligning implementations with Google Cloud best practices.
Location: Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, or Szeged, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do
- Analyze cloud-native tools and frameworks to design Google Cloud Platform solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Build and customize automated cloud solutions using Google Cloud technologies and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Support cloud migration planning, workload reviews, troubleshooting, and service improvement initiatives.
- Participate in technical workshops, pilot projects, proof-of-concept work, and client proposals from pre-sales through implementation.
- Create solution templates, define new features, and prepare technical documentation in collaboration with product management, architects, engineers, and DevOps teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of GCP services including Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Firebase.
- Experience with modern software development using Python, NodeJS, or Java.
- Understanding of cloud networking, automation, and security practices.
- Strong English communication skills required.
Nice to have
- Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification.
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud connectivity, including VPC, Cloud VPN, and load balancers.
- Experience building distributed systems or microservices applications.
- German language skills.
