Head of Risk Management Private Markets

What you will do

• Lead first-line risk and control oversight across the Private Markets platform and acquired businesses.
• Represent Private Markets in governance forums and ensure risk actions are communicated and completed.
• Coordinate Risk & Control Self-Assessments, Key Control Assessments, control testing, and audit activities.
• Manage Conflicts of Interest processes, registers, owners, and MetricStream records.
• Monitor conduct, reputational risk, third-party oversight, control effectiveness, and emerging risks.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on risk appetite, governance papers, operational resilience, and risk advice.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of operational risk frameworks and first-line risk management.
• Understanding of private markets; previous private markets experience is desirable.
• Experience with governance processes, risk assessments, control testing, and risk data analysis.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business units and acquired entities.
• Confident preparation and presentation of risk materials for senior leadership and committees.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of risk professionals.
