Senior Analytics & Data Science Consultant

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid remote/in-office

What you will do

• Evaluate and acquire new data assets, analyze large datasets, and establish best practices for generating insights.
• Design advanced algorithms and analytical solutions for internal and external client business problems.
• Develop product prototypes and apply machine learning, data mining, and text mining techniques.
• Validate model and scoring performance, document modeling processes, and present outcomes.
• Lead programs that improve analytical solutions, data quality, model performance, and project timelines.
• Support sales and consultancy activities, guide project teams, mentor colleagues, and share expertise through publications and presentations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and strong programming, statistics, computer science, and machine learning knowledge.
• Expertise in advanced algorithms for practical business problems and understanding of data structures in marketing, risk, and customer management.
• Familiarity with regression models, XGBoost, neural networks, support vector machines, and ensemble methods.
• At least 3 years of experience defining scope and delivering customized analytics projects.
