Intern, Network Sector Coverage (Banking and Finance)

ING operates a wholesale banking business in Asia Pacific, serving corporate clients with tailored banking, financing, trade finance, financial markets, and working capital solutions.

What you will do

• Prepare briefing materials and presentations for client meetings with product partners.
• Participate in internal and external meetings and provide follow-up support.
• Prepare business reports and portfolio analyses.
• Research industries and identify new client prospects.
• Support transaction execution and delivery, including KYC onboarding.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects and support relationship managers across ING’s global network.

Requirements

• Currently in the second year through final year of an undergraduate degree, with an interest in banking and finance.
• Strong curiosity, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and collaborate within a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience or skills in AI, data analytics, or related technologies.
