TL;DR

Operations Officer – Payments and Transfers (Fintech): Processing cash and securities transfers, account closures, margin positions, reconciliations, chargebacks, and regulatory reporting with an accent on payment accuracy, transaction systems, and financial-services compliance. Focus on investigating cash discrepancies, improving operational processes, and supporting payments through SWIFT, SEPA, and FED WIRE.

What you will do

Process cash and securities transfers accurately.
Manage account closures and monitor client margin positions.
Investigate client cash reconciliations and handle chargebacks.
Identify and propose improvements to operational processes.
Assist with regulatory reporting.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience in financial services back-office operations.
Experience with transaction systems such as FED WIRE, SWIFT, and SEPA.
Familiarity with banking regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering, privacy, and data protection obligations.
Strong accuracy, analytical problem-solving, organisational, planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in an English-speaking environment.
Flexible approach to work routines and schedules.

Nice to have

Previous experience with payments, card networks, or securities transfers.
Knowledge of an additional language.
