Senior Software Engineer (Go/Revenue & Contracts)

Location: Remote within the United States; corporate roles are not hired in AK, AR, DE, HI, ME, MS, NM, OK, SD, VT, or WI. Office hubs are in Denver and San Francisco.

Salary: $161,500–$232,500 annually, with location-based compensation.

What you will do

• Lead ambiguous projects from stakeholder problem definition through design, review, production deployment, and ownership.
• Build and extend Go services for contract and pricing configuration, billable event generation, subscriptions, invoices, and claims submission.
• Expand assertion and reconciliation systems across Salesforce, Zuora, and clinical data to prevent billing discrepancies.
• Improve billing and reconciliation data used by health plans and employer partners.
• Design self-service tools for finance, revenue cycle management, and client operations.
• Contribute to design and code reviews, mentor engineers, and apply AI to development workflows where useful.

Requirements

• 5+ years building and operating production backend services in Go or another statically typed language.
• Experience with event-driven architectures, eventual consistency, ordering, idempotency, and system reconciliation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working across application code and analytics layers.
• Experience owning systems where correctness affects billing, payments, claims, ledgers, or regulated reporting.
• Experience partnering directly with finance, operations, or other non-engineering stakeholders.
• Experience with GCP, AI-assisted development workflows, and frontend development with React and TypeScript.
