Manager II, Operations Management - Weekend 2ND SHIFT - (M2)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite weekend 2nd shift

Salary: $68,000–$93,500 per year

What you will do

• Supervise production and operations employees involved in assembly, inspection, testing, and manufacturing of equipment, systems, components, and subsystems.
• Prioritize production schedules based on staffing, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational performance metrics, conduct milestone meetings, and improve cycle time and other production results.
• Resolve operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate conformance to customer and vendor requirements.
• Manage employee training, development, performance goals, coaching, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
• Optimize production capacity and drive improvements in Lean manufacturing, safety, quality, and corrective action.

Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of procedures and concepts within the operations job family.
• Formal supervisory experience with responsibility for setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with employees, customers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Availability for weekend 2nd-shift work in Austin, Texas.
• Compliance with hirify.global standards of business conduct and safety requirements.
