What you will do
- Manage and support data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms for reliability, accuracy, and accessibility.
- Perform SQL-based diagnostics, data validation, quality checks, and performance tuning with Python and Shell scripting.
- Implement monitoring and observability with Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Integrate data deployments into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Git.
- Provision and automate data environments with Terraform and Ansible, while supporting Docker and Kubernetes-based environments.
- Handle incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with Data Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Compliance teams.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in DataOps, Data Engineering Operations, or Analytics Platform Support.
- Strong Python and SQL skills for automation and data diagnostics.
- Strong DevOps experience with AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, Terraform, Ansible, and Datadog.
- Knowledge of monitoring, observability, data governance, data quality, incident management, and operational metrics such as MTTR, uptime, and latency.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes concepts, plus experience working in Scrum or Kanban delivery models.
