Software Engineer, Simulation (AI)

Location: Warren, Michigan, United States; 100% telecommuting permitted

Base compensation: $176,000–$234,100 annually, plus bonus potential.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain software components for the ScenarioKit internal test creation platform.
• Build and maintain automated pipelines for simulation test execution across local and Google Cloud Platform infrastructure.
• Develop tools and scripts for testing machine-learning-based perception and planning systems.
• Design, develop, and validate simulation environments, robotics systems, or autonomous-system software.
• Analyze simulation failure cases to support model performance improvements and autonomous-vehicle safety.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus one year of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience.
• At least one year of experience with Python and C++ software development and automation.
• Experience with SQL or similar database-querying tools and data processing in large-scale computing environments.
• Experience with machine-learning models and computer-vision systems.
• Experience with cloud-based development environments for scalable software execution.
