What you will do
- Welcome walk-in travelers and understand their travel and visa needs.
- Assist customers with visa applications on-site, reviewing documents and application details for accuracy and completeness.
- Explain visa types, requirements, timelines, pricing, and the value proposition.
- Resolve customer questions and urgent application issues with patience and professionalism.
- Follow up on application status and keep customers informed.
- Maintain an organized store, support a premium customer experience, and share improvement feedback with the team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or front-desk role.
- Knowledge of visa types, documentation requirements, processing timelines, rejection reasons, and embassy or consulate procedures.
- Fluent English with strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Customer-centric approach, ownership, patience, professionalism, and the ability to simplify complex visa processes.
- Comfort using CRMs, digital application platforms, and support tools.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and week-offs, 6 days per week with 9-hour shifts and a 1-hour break.
Nice to have
- Experience in visa processing, travel agencies, immigration consultancies, or related travel services.
- Proficiency in Hindi, Malayalam, and/or Tamil.
- Awareness of destination-specific entry regulations and embassy procedures.
- Professional appearance suitable for a premium retail environment.
