Staff Cyber Security (f/m/d) (Cloud Infrastructure/SaaS): Securing applications, systems, and cloud operations through security architecture, assessments, and DevSecOps practices with an accent on vulnerability management, penetration testing, and resilient application design. Focus on building baseline and enhanced security controls, conducting threat modeling and audits, and developing technical security tools for regulated environments.
Location: Karlsruhe, Germany; hybrid working model.

What you will do
- Integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle and secure operations procedures.
- Build security architecture covering baseline protection and enhanced controls for critical risks.
- Conduct penetration tests, threat modeling, technical audits, and concept reviews.
- Develop and operate security tools for vulnerability management and workstation compliance.
- Design and deliver application and infrastructure security training.
Requirements
- In-depth professional experience in information security.
- Hands-on experience with agile product development and DevSecOps concepts.
- Experience with white-box and black-box technical security audits, ideally in KRITIS or PCI-DSS environments.
- Fluency in at least one programming language, ideally Python or Java.
- Experience with virtual machine and container environments, plus strong problem-solving, teamwork, and project leadership skills.
- Good English skills required.
