Internal Control Assistant / Assistant Vice President (Banking)

What you will do

• Coordinate daily operations of the personal loan business line, supporting efficient delivery and risk control.
• Manage post-lending activities, including repayment monitoring, annual reviews, collateral management, and maintenance of loan files and inventory records.
• Conduct on-site and off-site inspections of the department and cross-border branch business lines.
• Coordinate follow-up and verification of remediation actions resulting from regulatory inspections, compliance reviews, and internal and external audits.
• Organize internal training and perform departmental controls, including specimen verification and internal account reconciliation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking, a Big Four firm, an accounting firm, or a similar financial institution.
• Familiarity with European and Luxembourg credit regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of the regional economic, political, and business environment.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is essential.
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of French or German.
