TL;DR
Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Linux, PHP): Supporting operational services for a telecom operator’s OSS environment with an accent on Linux administration, infrastructure automation, networking, virtualization, and PHP/database support. Focus on configuring and deploying services in a new platform, resolving incidents, optimizing performance, and validating production environments through functional testing.
Location: Poland; candidates must be based in Poland and be open to visiting the Katowice or Gdańsk office. The project uses a three-shift schedule: 08:00–16:00, 09:00–17:00, or 10:00–18:00. The 5-month project is scheduled to start on November 1, 2026.
Salary range and additional components are provided during the first recruitment stage.

What you will do
- Administer Linux-based servers running Ubuntu and RHEL.
- Install, maintain, update, and configure infrastructure software and services.
- Maintain server–network communication, including DNS, routing, firewalls, and syslog.
- Automate infrastructure processes using Ansible, Bash, and Python, and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
- Resolve incidents, support performance optimization, and participate in knowledge transfer.
- Provide source code, support compilation and deployment, and validate the new environment through functional testing.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of general IT experience.
- Strong hands-on Linux systems administration experience with Ubuntu or RHEL.
- Experience with PHP development and scripting, plus MySQL or MariaDB databases.
- DevOps experience and knowledge of Ansible and GitLab.
- Fluent English at B2/C1 level and availability for the 5-month project starting in November.
- Must be based in Poland and open to visiting the Katowice or Gdańsk office.
Nice to have
- French language skills.
- Experience with TACACS, RANCID, Perl, Python, web services, or AI.
