IT Developer (AI)

What you will do

• Build and maintain internal systems and automation tools deployed primarily on GCP, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Firestore, and Cloud SQL.
• Integrate internal and external APIs such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Salesforce.
• Support non-engineering teams with deployment, permissions, databases, API integration, performance, and error handling.
• Review code and turn prototypes or one-off scripts into maintainable, production-ready systems.
• Maintain shared deployment environments, project templates, and reusable components while introducing Git and CI/CD practices.
• Clarify requirements with stakeholders, assess feasibility and risk, and propose simpler technical solutions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of software development experience and the ability to independently build and ship small to mid-sized systems.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or backend language, such as Python, TypeScript/Node, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with GCP or another cloud platform, including deployment and access management basics.
• Comfort with Git, code review, CI/CD workflows, and unfamiliar systems or APIs.
• Experience with Google Apps Script or the ability to learn it quickly.
• Heavy daily use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or Gemini CLI is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apps Script integrations, Cloud Run, Docker, or other containerized deployments.
• Experience designing agentic workflows, using MCP, or building AI agent toolchains.
• API integration experience with Salesforce, Slack, Jira, or other SaaS platforms.
• Experience with data processing, reporting automation, dashboards, internal tools, or IT automation.
• Experience mentoring non-engineers in coding or writing internal technical documentation.
