Production Supervisor (Machining)

Location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation is available. Rotating shifts in a manufacturing shop-floor environment; no travel required.

What you will do

• Lead daily production activities across CNC milling, shot blasting, heat treatment, deburring, and multitask machining operations.
• Supervise production-line employees, assign tasks, coordinate teams, monitor performance, and maintain workplace safety.
• Create production, tooling, performance, and inventory reports and recommend improvements to safety, productivity, and quality.
• Maintain operating procedures and safety and quality documentation while ensuring process and product compliance.
• Train new hires, manage schedules and work conflicts, and promote communication and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum diploma in engineering.
• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in machining.
• Experience with CNC turning, milling, and multitask operations.
• Knowledge of quality management, planning and organizing, process improvement, talent management, machine-shop operations, and manufacturing safety.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Ability to operate Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
