Supplier Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia; onsite five days a week in an office and manufacturing shop-floor environment. Domestic relocation is available. Travel is not required.

What you will do

• Provide conclusions and recommendations for supplier quality issues and continuous improvement projects.
• Work with suppliers to improve quality levels and implement supplier quality initiatives.
• Establish and maintain process controls, certification programs, evaluations, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and quality records.
• Identify quality problems and define short-term action plans with facility management and suppliers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Collect non-conformance data and maintain quality system documentation.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in quality management, preferably with a focus on supplier quality.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Engineering or Purchasing.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis, quality management methods, decision-making, and critical thinking.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to move actively throughout the plant, climb stairs and steps, and lift, push, and pull equipment.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
