Analyst in Health Technology Assessment Strategy and Implementation (HTA)

Location: Porto Salvo, Portugal; the role may also be based in Spain, Greece, or South Africa. Hybrid/home-based work is available with flexibility regarding office attendance and occasional office visits.

What you will do

• Develop UK HTA and HEOR materials, including dossier writing, HTA landscape reviews, literature reviews, health economic models, and submission support.
• Support submissions and engagements with UK agencies such as NICE and the SMC.
• Contribute to multi-country HTA and HEOR projects across products and markets.
• Collaborate with technical consultants, market access specialists, patient-centered solutions teams, database study teams, and local hirify.global offices.
• Prepare conference abstracts, posters, and white papers, and guide interns working on HTA-focused topics.
• Develop knowledge of global HTA and HEOR offerings to support business development.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in HTA, health economics, economics, life sciences, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, medicine, pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• At least one year of relevant experience or internships.
• Knowledge of HTA and health economics methodologies, including economic modelling, real-world economic evidence, utility measurement, or costing studies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent conversational and business English is required; applications and CVs must be submitted in English.
• Quantitative skills and knowledge of statistical software such as STATA or R are desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience with consulting methodologies, healthcare consulting, the life sciences industry, or academia.
• Familiarity with research design, critical appraisal, evidence synthesis, and clinical-trial statistics.
