TL;DR
Ops Requirement Cyber Analyst/Cyber/C2 (Cybersecurity): Supporting USSF joint capability integration and developing, reviewing, and assessing cyber and command-and-control requirements documentation with an accent on defense space operations, acquisition processes, and senior-level requirements coordination. Focus on participating in JROC and capability board processes, advising leadership, and synthesizing data analytics to evaluate capability development artifacts.

Location: On-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, United States. Must arrive by 8:00 AM normally, or 7:00 AM when required, and remain until 3:30 PM normally, or 5:30 PM when required. Minimal travel of 0–20%.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Support the U.S. Space Force Headquarters Staff and Directorate of Space Requirements.
  • Interface with the Joint Capabilities Integration process and represent the USSF in Functional and Joint Capabilities Boards.
  • Participate in the Joint Requirements Oversight Council process.
  • Author, edit, review, staff, and assess capability development documents, including CRDs, MARDs, RPRDs, and SRDs.
  • Advise senior leadership on capability development planning and coordination.
  • Synthesize data analytics to assess requirements artifacts across programs.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the space enterprise, DoD requirements, acquisition and budgeting processes, and Defense Space policy.
  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, and execute requirements projects and brief results to senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of U.S., allied, partner, and adversary cyber operations, space-system command and control, and space operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of applicable experience in Service, CCMD, or Joint Staff environments.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, operations research education, or cyber certifications.
  • 13+ years of experience in defense-space operations, engineering, science, analysis, policy, or planning.
  • Recent HQ AF, SAF, Joint Staff, or USCYBERCOM experience.
  • Experience with Joint Requirements documentation, space-system and software acquisition, TMT, or KM/DS tools.
  • Experience with AI tools and operational analysis.
