Senior AI Applied Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with two days per week in the Kraków office

What you will do

• Own the full SDLC for digital banking products, from ideation and architecture through release and maintenance.
• Design performant, secure, and scalable frontend systems and components integrating with APIs.
• Improve architecture, enterprise integration patterns, and complex data flows between services.
• Provide technical leadership through mentoring, code reviews, and engineering standards.
• Use AI tooling across development and testing while optimizing technical debt and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and UX designers in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Living in Kraków or a nearby area and willingness to work from the office twice per week.
• 5–7+ years of professional experience building complex, high-traffic products.
• Strong Angular and TypeScript skills, with proficiency in RxJS and modern build systems such as Webpack and Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and complex service data flows.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and support architectural decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js.
• Exposure to Java, Spring JPA/Hibernate, Maven, microservices, Netflix OSS, and cloud technologies.
• Previous fintech or banking experience.
