Lead Frontend Engineer (Angular)

Location: Bulgaria, Poland, or Romania; remote/office work

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex modular client-side applications with Angular, TypeScript, and modern build tooling.
• Own frontend architecture, responsive behavior, accessibility, SEO, security, and application performance.
• Build reusable components and scalable state management patterns, and integrate REST APIs.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders.
• Implement authentication and authorization flows using OAuth and OpenID Connect.
• Develop unit and integration tests, integrate builds into CI/CD pipelines, and optimize client-side performance and asset delivery.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or five years of higher education and at least 15 years of professional IT experience.
• Must be security clearable or already hold EU-27 security clearance.
• At least 3.5 years of Angular 14+, TypeScript, and Bootstrap experience, including Angular CLI, Webpack, or Vite.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript/ES6, CSS3, SASS, RxJS, React, Web Components, state management, and modular frontend applications.
• Experience with web security, OAuth, OpenID Connect, REST APIs, web services testing, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Bamboo, and CI/CD pipelines.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher is required. Experience with testing frameworks, monitoring tools, CDNs, SEO, and accessibility standards is also required.
