What you will do

• Design multi-agent systems for distributed QoS management in 6G-enabled industrial IoT environments.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate deep learning and reinforcement learning models for real-time anomaly detection and adaptive network optimization.
• Integrate blockchain and trust mechanisms into multi-agent systems for secure and resilient industrial IoT communications.
• Use and expand Firecell 5G/6G standalone testbed experiments to evaluate latency, throughput, and reliability.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers in wireless communications, machine learning, and IoT.
• Publish research, write funding proposals, collaborate with interdisciplinary researchers, and contribute to NSF deliverables and outreach.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
• No prior professional experience is required.
• Research work covers AI, wireless systems, cybersecurity, industrial automation, and industrial IoT.
• Employment is based in Prairie View, Texas.
• Employment is subject to a criminal history investigation and credential verification.

Nice to have

• Doctoral specialization in signal processing, 5G/6G, communication systems, and AI.
