TL;DR
Country Security Lead (Information Security): Managing ASML’s China security organization and developing country-specific security roadmaps with an accent on information security, physical security, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Focus on leading the China Virtual Security Team, coordinating incident response, strengthening security capabilities, and reporting security maturity to senior leadership.
Location: Shanghai, China; travel to other offices in China and abroad is required approximately 15% of the time.

What you will do
- Manage the China security organization on behalf of the CISO and drive delivery of security services.
- Develop and execute China-specific security roadmaps aligned with the central security strategy.
- Identify, assess, mitigate, and report information and physical security risks with sector Security Risk Managers.
- Oversee country-specific incident response plans and coordinate the handling of security incidents with the central Security Operations Center.
- Ensure compliance with information security laws, regulations, governance requirements, and security controls.
- Lead the China Virtual Security Team, build security capabilities, provide staff training, and report progress to senior management.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of information security experience, including at least 8 years in physical security and 5 years in IT.
- Strong expertise in enterprise security risk management, security governance, compliance, business continuity, and risk mitigation.
- Experience engaging senior leadership and managing stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Master’s degree in Information Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST; CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification is valued.
