Trade Compliance Analyst I (International Trade)

Location: Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico. The position requires 30–40% domestic and international travel. A valid travel visa is required; visa sponsorship for foreign candidates and domestic relocation assistance are not available.

What you will do

• Manage compliance with IMMEX program regulations and Mexican import/export requirements.
• Analyze and apply Free Trade Agreement benefits and documentation.
• Classify goods accurately under HTS requirements for customs purposes.
• Process and maintain import/export records and documentation.
• Monitor fixed assets and customs data in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with customs and regulatory authorities, support audits, and train employees on compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Degree in International Relations, International Business, International Commerce, or a similar field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Mexican customs laws and international trade regulations.
• Experience with FTA documentation, IMMEX, VAT Certification, PROSEC, OEA/CTPAT, Annex 24–30, customs audits, SAT audits, and related customs formalities.
• Analytical, problem-solving, reporting, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• High accuracy in documentation, record keeping, customs classification, and regulatory procedures.
• Intermediate conversational English required; advanced conversational English is preferred.
