Open Source GitHub Maintainer (AI)

Location: Remote, open globally; flexible schedule; 15 hours per week

hirify.global engages open-source maintainers for a customer project focused on reviewing and evaluating AI-generated code.

What you will do

• Evaluate code patches generated by large language models for open-source repositories.
• Review correctness, quality, maintainability, and alignment with project requirements.
• Write detailed feedback and justify each assessment.
• Conduct peer reviews of submissions from other subject-matter experts.
• Complete assigned tasks according to project quality standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience with one or more of C++, Java, TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or C.
• Experience maintaining or contributing to open-source repositories.
• Experience reviewing code submitted by other contributors.
• Public GitHub, GitLab, or similar profile demonstrating open-source contributions is required.
• Strong written communication and technical review skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
