Software Test Engineer (Python/C++)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain automated integration and regression tests for a shared distributed software platform.
• Define test scenarios and cases covering platform functionality, communication flows, and system integration.
• Verify timing characteristics, I/O delays, synchronization mechanisms, and data integrity across complex configurations.
• Develop and maintain test tooling, simulators, and automated test environments.
• Execute test campaigns, analyze results, and assess product quality and release readiness.
• Investigate defects, support root-cause analysis, improve test coverage, and report quality metrics and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in software testing, software development, or system integration.
• Experience with automated testing in complex software systems and with integration, regression testing, and test automation frameworks.
• Experience with Python and/or C++ and test automation with Python preferred.
• Experience working in Linux-based development and test environments.
• Experience analyzing software defects and performing root-cause investigations.
• Understanding of distributed and real-time software systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology under United States Export Administration Regulations before starting work.

• ISTQB Foundation or T-Map Certificate.
• Experience with Robot Framework.
• Experience with continuous integration and automated test pipelines.
• Experience with distributed, embedded, or real-time systems.
