QC Associate (Biotechnology)

Location: West Greenwich, Rhode Island, United States. Onsite 10-hour shift from Saturday through Tuesday, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM.

Salary: $62,571.90–$84,656.10 annually.

What you will do

• Collect and handle samples for GMP operations and environmental and water monitoring in manufacturing and utility areas.
• Perform microbiological and analytical testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, TOC, conductivity, and MMV testing.
• Use automated sampling and data systems such as LIMS, LMES, and CIMS for testing and data review.
• Prepare accurate laboratory documentation using electronic systems and laboratory notebooks.
• Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Support laboratory investigations, audits, housekeeping, training compliance, safety, cGMPs, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of quality experience, or an associate degree plus 6 months of quality experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in a fast-paced GxP laboratory or regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical laboratory is preferred.
• Experience with microbiology testing, including bioburden and endotoxin testing, is preferred.
• Experience with gowning and sampling in cleanroom areas and with laboratory equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic laboratory systems such as LIMS, LMES, or TrackWise is preferred.
• Strong communication, prioritization, flexibility, and adaptability are expected.
