Quality Control Supervisor (Pharmaceutical)

Location: On-site at the New Albany, Ohio facility

What you will do

• Supervise and perform in-process and final product inspections across the compounding process.
• Review raw materials, product documentation, inspection results, and quality metrics.
• Support investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints.
• Verify equipment and assist with calibration schedules for balances, pH meters, and related equipment.
• Support compliance with USP <795> and applicable cGMP practices, audits, inspections, and audit readiness.
• Train and mentor production and pharmacy staff and help draft and revise SOPs and work instructions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in non-sterile compounding or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of USP <795> standards and cGMP practices.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; MRP or ERP experience is a plus.
• Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one within the first six months is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a regulated environment and knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 210/211.
• Experience with MRP or ERP systems.
