Senior Investment Operations Technology Testing Consultant

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional remote work across Poland is available, with up to 20 international remote-work days per year subject to internal policy.

Italy-only base compensation range: €34,880–€52,320, with an annual bonus structure.

What you will do

• Analyze and clarify complex business and functional requirements, including scope, risks, and quality expectations.
• Design, execute, and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with client business needs.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on requirements, testing approaches, progress, and outcomes.
• Document and present test results, defects, and quality risks clearly.
• Support incident and defect management through analysis, documentation, and reporting.
• Apply testing frameworks and automation practices across SimCorp Dimension and related investment operations platforms.

Requirements

• STEM or Finance educational background.
• Financial knowledge in investment banking and accounting, including Front Office, Back Office, accounting processes, or financial transaction workflows.
• At least 3 years of experience in software testing or a comparable role.
• Practical coding experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell, or strong technical proficiency.
• Experience with version control such as Git or Azure DevOps and hands-on Agile methodology experience.
• English fluency at minimum B2+ or C1 level.

Nice to have

• Experience creating test automation scripts and scenarios.
• Experience with client consulting, financial workflows, and investment management concepts.
